About the School
APSN Chaoyang School (CYS) serves students with mild intellectual disability and varying levels of autism support needs. In June 2026, the school expanded its provision with the introduction of the Chaozheng Programme, which caters to students with moderate to severe autism and intellectual disability.
Key Strengths and Programmes
CYS provides differentiated programmes to meet students’ varying learning and support needs. Its three main programmes are the Integrated Programme, ASD Structured Programme, and Chaozheng Programme.
The school adopts a multidisciplinary approach. Teachers work closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and social workers. Through a Response to Intervention model, support ranges from whole-school and classroom strategies to targeted group and individual interventions.
CYS also provides students with opportunities beyond classroom learning to discover and develop their strengths, interests, and talents. Through modular Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs), students are exposed to experiences including Speech & Drama, Music & Movement, badminton, ceramics, environmental activities, dance, choir, and multimedia.

APSN Katong School

About the School
APSN Katong School (KS) is the first school established by APSN and is currently the only full school under APSN Education Services Ltd. The school serves students with mild intellectual disabilities or co-morbidity with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Key Strengths and Programmes
KS has received national recognition for its Sensory Play, Mighty Hands, and Our School Our Voice programmes over the past few years.
The school provides a tightly interwoven curriculum that integrates Functional Academics, including Communication & Language and Numeracy, with Daily Living Skills (DLS) and Vocational Education (VE). This prepares students for the transition from living readiness to work readiness.
KS also supports holistic talent development. Students actively participate in various national-level showcases and events, including Play Inclusive, Singapore Youth Festival (SYF), National School Games, and Special Olympics.
Our Distinctive Focus
KS focuses on developing students as active contributors. The school promotes student agency and provides platforms for students to contribute to society.
KS also supports staff empowerment and continuous growth through Professional Learning Teams (PLTs). Staff are given the autonomy to identify areas for improvement and work together to address gaps through evidence-based practices (EBP).
What You Will Experience
Visitors can expect to observe how school-wide Positive Behaviour Interventions and Supports (PBIS) are implemented through a whole-school approach to support students.
Visitors will also gain insights into the collaborative working relationship between teachers and Allied Professionals in supporting students. They can also see how the school creates opportunities for students to interact with the wider community and mainstream education peers to support a more inclusive society.

APSN Tanglin School (TS) supports youths aged 13 to 16 with special educational needs. The school develops students’ conceptual, social, and practical adaptive skills to strengthen their independence, participation, and readiness for adult life.
TS prepares students for Learning, Living and Working, with the aim of developing independent, future-ready, responsible citizens and active contributors. The Spirit of the Hummingbird reflects the school values of Respect, Integrity, Resilience, and Commitment, as well as the belief that every student can grow, contribute, and do their best.
Key Strengths and Programmes
TS adopts a Total Curriculum that brings together academic, social, and vocational domains through a holistic and student-centred approach.
Explicit Instruction and structured teaching support students to learn with clarity and confidence. Social-Emotional Learning, Character and Citizenship Education, and Daily Living Skills build independence, character, and skills for everyday life.
Vocational Education, School-Based Work, and authentic work experiences develop vocational skills, positive work habits, and readiness for employment. Digital Literacy and the purposeful use of current and emerging technologies also prepare students to learn, create, solve problems, and participate in a changing world.
These strengths are reflected in students’ achievements. At the APSN Skills Showcase Challenge 2025, Tanglin School students came in first in the Mocktail Creation and Wearable Accessories categories, and the school placed second overall.

APSN Delta Senior School (DSS) is a vocational special education school that serves students aged 17 to 21 with mild intellectual disability, including those with autism spectrum disorder. The school focuses on preparing students for employment and independent living.
Key Strengths and Programmes
DSS provides a customised curriculum that integrates academic learning, life skills, and vocational training. As a Registered Training Provider with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) since 2008, the school equips students with industry-relevant competencies and recognised certifications, supporting their transition into the workforce and active contribution to society.
In 2025, DSS received the MOE-SG Enable Innovation Award for its project, “Pioneering a Sustainable Future: Aquaponics Farm to Kitchen.” The project promotes sustainability through sustainable agricultural practices by integrating aquaponics systems for efficient food production. It combines aquaculture and hydroponics in a closed-loop system where fish and plants coexist symbiotically.

DSS focuses on preparing students with special educational needs for employment and independent living through a curriculum that integrates academic learning, life skills, and vocational training.
What You Will Experience
Participants will be guided through selected training facilities where students undergo structured vocational programmes aligned with Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) certification pathways.
The visit will include a sharing session by the school Principal and opportunities to engage with students and educators who support students’ transition to employment. Through these engagements, participants can gain a deeper understanding of how DSS prepares students for work and life beyond school, develop a richer appreciation of inclusive education practices, and reflect on how empathy and support systems can be strengthened within their own educational contexts.

APSN Centre for Adults (APSN CFA @ EUNOS) provides vocational training and employment-focused support for adults with intellectual disabilities aged 18 and above.
Key Strengths and Programmes
APSN CFA @ EUNOS adopts a person-centric approach that develops vocational competencies alongside social, communication, and work-readiness skills, supporting trainees towards meaningful employment and greater independence.
The centre provides person-centric vocational training adapted to individual strengths, needs, and vocational pathways. Positive Behavioural Interventions and Supports (PBIS) promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation.
Through industry-based training and partnerships, trainees gain authentic vocational exposure and meaningful work opportunities. Employability support includes job assessment and matching, customised workplace training, internships, job placement, and post-placement support. Allied Professional support complements vocational training and supports trainees’ overall development.
Our Distinctive Focus
APSN CFA @ EUNOS integrates vocational training, behavioural support, Allied Professional services, and industry partnerships to create a continuum from training to employment and longer-term community participation.
What You Will Experience
Participants will see how person-centric vocational training is adapted to individual strengths, needs, and vocational pathways. They will also gain insights into the use of PBIS, industry-based training and partnerships, employability support, and Allied Professional services in supporting trainees towards employment and greater independence.

About the Centre
APSN Centre for Adults (APSN CFA @ AMK) is APSN’s post-18 Day Activity Centre (DAC) and Sheltered Workshop (SW), supporting adults with Intellectual Disability (ID), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and related support needs. The centre focuses on meaningful engagement while developing social, communication, vocational, and independent living skills.
Key Strengths and Programmes
APSN CFA @ AMK develops Daily Living Skills to support greater independence in self-care, household tasks, community living, health, and safety. Social Emotional Learning and Positive Behavioural Interventions and Supports (PBIS) build self-awareness, emotional regulation, communication, and positive social behaviours.
Therapy and Assistive Technology support physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional well-being through activity-based interventions and assistive solutions. Community Engagement provides opportunities for participation, social connection, recreation, volunteering, and community inclusion.
The centre also provides Pre-Vocational Training to develop work habits, communication, teamwork, task completion, and other work-readiness competencies.
Our Distinctive Focus
APSN CFA @ AMK integrates environmental design, PBIS, therapy, assistive technology, daily living skills, community participation, and pre-vocational learning to support adults with different levels of support needs towards greater independence, participation, and quality of life.
What You Will Experience
Participants will tour purpose-designed facilities, including the Multi-Purpose Hall, Movement Room, Calm Down Room, DAC and SW classrooms, cool-down pods, technology-enabled café, caregiver meeting spaces, and canteen.
The visit will showcase how the centre’s environment, programmes, and support approaches work together to support adults with different levels of support needs.
